The operation aimed to reduce road crashes, promote responsible road use, and ensure visible law enforcement across major routes in the province.<\/p>\n<p>Led by Minister, Premier, MECs, Mayors, and key stakeholders, the operation included on-site road safety observations, vehicle inspections, and direct engagement with motorists. Leadership assessed compliance levels, evaluated enforcement strategies, and interacted with law enforcement officers.<\/p>\n<p>The Department welcomed the high level of cooperation from road users and commended law enforcement officers for their dedication and professionalism. As Easter holiday traffic volumes rise, the Department reiterates its call on all road users to exercise caution, patience, and responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>Key road safety messages were reinforced, including obeying speed limits, avoiding drinking and driving, wearing seatbelts, and ensuring vehicle roadworthiness.
