6 VEHICLES IMPOUNDED IN SEKHUKHUNE DISTRICT’S LATEST TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT OPERATION

The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety’s Sekhukhune District team conducted a targeted law enforcement operation in the Jane Furse area on Sunday, 18 May 2025, stopping and checking 160 public transport vehicles.

The operation resulted in the impoundment of six (06) vehicles, including five Avanzas and one minibus, for operating without valid licenses. Additionally, seven drivers were issued with summonses for various offenses.

This decisive action underscores the department’s commitment to prioritising public safety and enforcing compliance within the transport sector.
