LIMPOPO DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT AND COMMUNITY SAFETY DEBATE COMPETITION KICKS OFF
#CommunitySafety| The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety’s school debates competition, in partnership with the Limpopo Department of Education, has officially kicked off, empowering young minds to shape the future of community safety.
The Vhembe District leg of the competition witnessed ardent arguments and vigorous presentations from learners at Thohoyandou, Mphaphuli, Dlamani, and Khatisa secondary schools as they debated community safety motions at Sibasa, Thulamela Local Municipality
The competition will continue across other districts, culminating in a thrilling provincial showdown in Polokwane, where the best debaters will showcase their skills and compete for top honors.
This initiative not only fosters critical thinking, public speaking, and problem-solving skills but also nurtures solution-oriented citizens who are passionate about creating a safer and more informed community.
By engaging youth in discussions on community safety, the department is investing in a safer, more informed future for Limpopo
