MEC MATHYE ATTENDS TO POLICING COMPLAINTS IN BOTLOKWA

On July 31, 2025, MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Ms. Violet Mathye, and SAPS Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen. Thembi Hadebe, held a crucial engagement session with the Batlokwa Tribal Councils at the Machaka Tribal Authority office in Botlokwa, within the Molemole Local Municipality of the Capricorn district.

The meeting was prompted by community concerns regarding policing issues at the local police station.

Through this engagement, MEC Mathye and Lt Gen. Hadebe demonstrated the government’s commitment to prioritizing community safety and improving service delivery.

The visit underscores the collaborative efforts between government departments and law enforcement agencies to tackle pressing issues affecting the community, ultimately working towards creating a safer and more responsive environment for the people of Botlokwa.

The community expressed their appreciation for the MEC and Provincial Commissioner’s visit, praising their efforts to engage with them and address their concerns.
