Today, 19.05.2025, MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Mme Violet Mathye, welcomed SATAWU, led by General Secretary Mr. Nephawe, to the DTCS Head office in Polokwane. The meeting aimed to shed light on the operation of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) within the transport sector, smoothing working relationships and paving the way for fair and law-abiding operations.
With open doors and a commitment to justice, MEC Mathye emphasized her department’s dedication to resolving issues and ensuring a harmonious transport environment. “Our doors are always open for all who need our intervention, and we strive to ensure justice is served,” she said.
This meeting marked a step towards a more cooperative and regulated transport sector.
