Limpopo MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Florence Radzilani has today, Saturday 14 October 2023 addressed Prayer Day at Modimolle-Mookgophong Local Municipality, Waterberg District.
The Prayer Day was attended by MEC for Sports, Arts and Culture, Nakedi Kekana-Sibanda, Members of Parliament, Councilors, Pastors and Community members of Modimolle-Mookgophong Local Municipality.
MEC Radzilani during her address, welcomed the noble idea, by the Modimolle-Mookgophong Local Municipality, to convene under one venue, with intention of giving praises to the Creator of Heaven and Earth.
MEC Radzilani has indicated that government remains hopeful that it’ll be able to deliver a desirable and better South Africa, for all its inhabitants. She also made a clarion call, that everyone should exercise their democratic right and register to vote in 2024.
“We are also making a clarion call to our community members, to raise the Alarm, where they suspect possible act of Gender based violence and child abuse. We shall not rest, until all perpetrators of Gender based violence are isolated and put in their rightful spaces, which is behind bars” said MEC Radzilani.
MEC Radzilani concluded by  sending her profound gratitude, to the people of Modimolle-Mookgophong, for heeding this call, and joined their Government, as a way of demonstrating their confidence, ahead of the 2024 general elections.
