The MEC has used the occasion to re-commit the Department, towards the attainment and optimisation of the gender equity plan, holistically.

MEC Mathye, has indicated that this Department, will use the current recruitment process, to ensure that this becomes a reality.

She has also indicated that, plans are afoot, for her to engage with the full staff compliment of the Department, for a frank and ‘off-the-cuff’ engagement.

This, she said, is part of her on-going engagements, to familiarise herself with this Department.
