Voices of Safety: Young Leaders Shape Limpopo’s Future

The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety recently hosted the Provincial Community Safety Debates at The Ranch Resort in Polokwane, where top debaters from across the province gathered to discuss the pressing topic: “Economic desperation is a driving force behind the involvement of illegal immigrants in business selling expired goods.”

The competition showcased the exceptional skills of six talented learners from different schools. The winners were:

– Position 1: Kelebogile Malatji from Tielelo Secondary School in Waterberg District, with an impressive score of 252.
– Position 2: Khanani Khosa from Khatisa Secondary School in Vhembe District, scoring 240 points.
– Position 3: Nkateko Mabasa from Khatisa Secondary School in Vhembe District, with 233 points. Nkateko Mabasa was also recognized as the *Best Speaker.*
– Position 4: Sisanda Zitha from Matshwara Secondary School in Waterberg District, scoring 212 points.
– Position 5: Phathutshedzo Muvari from Thohondou High School in Vhembe District, with 210 points.
– Position 6: Tsholofelo Makgai from Mogaputji Secondary School in Capricorn District, scoring 205 points.
