The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety (DTCS), together with the Gateway Airport Authority Limited (GAAL), appeared before the Portfolio Committee on Transport and Community Safety, chaired by Honourable Lebea.
MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Violet Mathye, and GAAL Chairperson, Dr Musitha, led the delegation. The Head of Department, Stephen Matjena, was part of the team of senior officials from both DTCS and GAAL.
The briefing focused on the Department and GAAL’s Fourth Quarter Performance Information for the 2025/26 financial year, highlighting key service delivery achievements, challenges, and progress made during the reporting period.
The engagement forms part of the Department’s ongoing commitment to accountability, transparency, and keeping the public informed on matters relating to service delivery in the transport and safety sector.
