MEC for Social Development, Florence Radzilani, led a Limpopo Provincial Government delegation mandated by Premier Dr. Phophi Ramathuba to assess the Musina Repatriation Camp and the Beitbridge Border Post.
She was joined by MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Violet Mathye and Head of Department, Stephen Matjena.
The delegation evaluated the purpose of the camp, as well as health conditions, environmental standards, and staffing capacity. At Beitbridge, the team also reviewed border operations, including the drone surveillance system used to monitor the border fence.
The visit reaffirms the Limpopo Provincial Government’s commitment to ensuring the orderly, dignified, and adequately resourced management of the repatriation process.
