ROAD SAFETY| The Festive Season Road Safety Campaign is in full swing! Today, Premier Dr. Phophi Ramathuba and MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Ms Violet Mathye, joined by the MEC for Health, Ms. Dieketseng Mashego, led a highly successful traffic law enforcement operation at the Mantsole Traffic Control Centre on the N1 in Waterberg District.
The operation yielded impressive results:
– 230 vehicles stopped and checked
– 32 summons issued
– 135 passengers searched by Police
– 1 minibus impounded
– 1 permit confiscated
– Road safety information materials distributed
