WomensMonth2024| Limpopo MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Ms Violet Mathye, has joined the Women in Uniform Operation, at Botlokwa along the N1.

This operation is part of the women’s month activities, to heighten road safety and amplify the fight against gender-based violence.

The MEC is joined in this programme, by the South African Police Service Provincial Commissioner, Lt-Gen Thembi Hadebe, the Executive Mayor of Capricorn District, Clr Mamedupi Teffo and members of her Executive Council and the Mayor of the Molemole Local Municipality, Clr Masilo Paya and Members of his Executive Committee.

Today’s activities include a visit to the Botlokwa Special School, where the MEC will lead a delegation of female Peace Officers, who will be donating an assortment of materials to assist the school.
