As the MEC for Transport and Community Safety, I am committed to listening to our employees and working together to build a better Limpopo. Recently, I met with Head Office , Capricorn District , Sekhukhune and Waterberg District staff to reflect on progress, share feedback, and address challenges.
Our engagement was a resounding success, with officials from various units sharing their insights and concerns. We discussed key developments, operational priorities, and progress made in improving transport systems and community safety initiatives. I was heartened by the dedication and commitment demonstrated by our officials, often working under challenging conditions.
I want to assure our employees that their voices are heard and valued. We are committed to transparency, accountability, and teamwork. I encouraged our officials to continue raising workplace matters through appropriate channels, and we will work together to address them.
As leaders, we must lead by example. I reminded our officials of the importance of professionalism, wearing name tags, and adhering to the Batho Pele principles. We will not tolerate corruption and will safeguard government resources.
I am proud of our team’s efforts, and I know that together, we can make a real difference in the lives of our people. Let’s remain dedicated, innovative, and responsive to the needs of our communities.
Thank you to all our officials for your hard work and commitment. Let’s continue to work together to build a safer, more prosperous Limpopo.
