Transport and Community Safety, MEC Violet Mathye has today, Tuesday, July, 30, 2024, delivered a keynote address at the Limpopo SAPS, Integrated Youth Crime Prevention Strategy at Ngoako Ramahlodi Sports Complex, Seshego outside Polokwane.
The event’s objective is empowerment of youth to become self-sufficient and actively involved in crime fighting initiatives and was held under the theme: Empowering Youth for Safer Communities and Sustainable Development.
MEC Mathye appreciated the fact that the event was filled with young people from different areas and schools within the Limpopo Province.
MEC Mathye believes that such activities provide valuable knowledge to the kids and that more should be held around the province to encourage our youth to get more involved in community safety.
